It feels like we begin just about every post apologizing for not having posted in awhile. So in order to keep with tradition (you know how much we love tradition /end sarcasm) : We're sorry. This humble web comic is still in its infant stage, and we are working to be better parents. We bought all the books, and realized its never a good idea to leave a baby unattended for five months at a time. Maybe we should get a babysitter. (SPOILER ALERT!)

So with the formalities aside, we hope you enjoy our newest installment of SGR. We'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Look forward to us getting our act together and quite possibly even posting on a more regular basis. Of course given our current track record, that might just mean posting every 3 months as opposed to 5. Nobody really knows.

Oh, the anticipation.

Hello hello! Bet you didn't expect to hear from us anytime soon, didja? You bunch of faithless jerks! I'm sorry, I said that in anger.

The truth is, we had a comic waiting on deck for this week. It's probably our favorite to date, actually.

All things on this list, albeit abridged, are 100% true. You can expect a reprise of this series, though don't expect the comic to appear at the same rate at which the list is growing. There isn't enough time in the day. Originally, this comic was going to take place on the student center deck, just like last week's. However, we resolved to use a gradient background, given the 4th wall breaking that we love so very much. Besides that, I wouldn't feel comfortable in a towel out there in the middle of campus. Not for personal embarrassment reasons, but because of the intimate reflection that this comic portrays... a reflection of the birth of my relationship with Jason. For those of you who know the tale, you'll understand the importance of the towel. For those that don't... well, feel free to ask. It's a chilling tale, full of tears, laughter, partial nudity, drunkenness, and good hygiene. I highly recommend it.

Keep an eye out for some more serious and pensive comics in the future. We've got some good ideas coming up.

So this comic has been in the making for a while, and we needed to get it just right before posting...
Okay we've been slacking. But we do have plenty of stuff on deck and hopefully they'll be cranked out during Spring break.

You're probably wondering about said "steak cake". This is a groundbreaking creation of mine, co-founded by Jason and enjoyed, in it's prototypical years, by Josh, Patrick, and Kelly. Let me explain. Imagine, if you will, a cake, covered in icing and sprinkles. Now replace the cake with steak, the icing with mashed potatoes, and the sprinkles with peas. The result is something that can only be described in holy terms. The whole of our group can testify to the glory of the steak cake, which is topped only by the glory of God Himself. The tasting was truly a humbling experience.

Anyway, there really was no Oscar. Not in the award sense, but in the pet turtle sense. You can be sure that he'll be making a second or third appearance.

Creativity Furlough

We've been busy! Don't judge us, ya bunch of doodyheads.

Okay so we had an entire month of no classes. But still, there was good reason to make you wait. For instance, now we have this amazing 3-part comic series to show for--- what? We never did that? Oh... well at least we have an awesome multi-panel comic for you--- wait, it's only one panel? What a slovenly couple of sluggards we are. Actually that scripture doesn't entirely represent our break, to be completely honest.

Well for some reason, nothing happened over break. Jason was working and I was... fixing my animation. In any case, we're back and rolling again, so here's a tiny morsel of a comic to get our veins pumping for the semester!

"Finals" Week

We want to apologize for the unfortunate dry spell here on SGR. These two wild and crazy guys have been busy studying for their finals in physiology and bio-chemistry. Don't even get us started on the essays and term papers that have piled up. Spell check, #2 pencils, scantrons, word processors, text books, lectures...

...Man, thank the Lord we go to art school. Seriously though, we're pretty busy. Bear with us while we wrap up our end of the semester projects and we'll be back with a vengeance before you can say "amillennial pre-tribulation eschatology".

The Plot Thickens

It may be a slight extrapolation of the truth, but there are people who support such doctrine. You'd think He would have written it down for us. Like in some kind of library, compiled over 1500 hundred years, written by over 40 authors in a historically cohesive 66-book library. Oh well, a man can hope can't he.

In other news, we have a great treat for all you L4D fans (every CA guy on campus). Our next comic will be a fantastic 3-part epic. There will also be a special appearance (by the horde, and someone else!)

So it begins! A new chapter of life for you and I. I hesitate to say that this comic will alter your life... but it definitely will.

In reference to this comic, you may ask yourself, what is the greater gift, and how can I achieve it!? Well my friends, search no longer. Thankfully, the lists in the Bible are incomplete, so the other gifts are left up to the imagination.

I think it falls under "miraculous powers", to be honest.
